BACK in September I went to see The Dodos at the Cluny in Byker, with Euros Childs, the former front man of Welsh band Gorky's Zygotic Mynci (pronounced 'Gorky's Psychotic Monkey') supporting.
I'm familiar with GZM after a few years ago when, with not a lot of money, I was looking for something new to listen to and bought their 1999 album 'Spanish Dance Troupe' in the Oxfam bookshop in Newcastle.
