Hi my name is Moses, Don Moses (I am going to the new Bond movie tonight, just getting in the mood).
I have just noticed I posted my first entry last week without even explaining who I am; so here goes.

I am a corporate entertainer performing mainly in London, Birmingham, Manchester and of course Newcastle. My duties include, after dinner comedy and magic, compering and close up magic. I really enjoy my work (yes I do know it is not "real work"); anyway, I hope my enthusiasm rubs off. In this blog, I would also like to help you find good comedy nights out in Newcastle.

In my first blog entry I mentioned the brilliant Longlivecomedy.com. This Tuesday night gig used to be a starting off place for new "raw" comedians, however; now, it is virtually a professional comedian's work room (to get a feel for the room watch this short showreel). So, for a very small entrance fee, you will be watching very experienced comedians try out some new material. Yes, it is their new stuff so it may still go "tits up", but surely that is the fun of live entertainment (well, for you, not us obviously).

If you are after weekend comedy, you should visit Dan Willis' comedy club at the Star and Shadow. The opening night is the 29th November.
I am working away on that evening, however, I am sending along a friend to report back. But don't wait for that, get along yourself and have a great night.
