WILLIAM ABLETT, five, pictured below with his dog Phoebe, of Great Broughton, tells us about his pets.

What pets do you have?
We have two ponies, Thumper who is nine and Danny who is 13. My sisters ride them and my mum does all the mucking out. We have two cats who are brothers called Bodger and Badger. Bodger had an accident with a car and so he only has three legs. Phoebe is a golden retriever and she is seven.
What do your pets do that makes you laugh?
The two ponies lick each other's backs when they are standing in the field and Bodger can't run very fast and so mice and birds always get away from him. Phoebe makes me laugh because she smiles when she sees me.
Any bad habits?
Phoebe loves to roll in the mud and then has a good shake and makes me and everyone else dirty.
If your pets could speak what would they say?
"Please feed me again!"
What do you remember about your first ever pet?
Bodger, when he had four legs, jumped on to the work top and started to eat the chicken curry.
If you could keep any animal in the world what would it be and why?
It would be a long-necked dinosaur because it would scare my dad.
