A group of Church of England Parishes are joining together to show just how small the world is, and how we increasingly depend so much upon one another. A special event organised by the Churches of Stokesley Deanery is being hosted at St Francis Church at Ingleby Barwick on Saturday 6th October. They hope lots of people will drop in to see what is going on
The event called "Global Links through Trade and Prayer", will run from 10am until 4pm and feature displays by many Church organisations that work overseas, showing just how involved we are together. There will also be presentations from three local schools, and a Fairtrade Fashion Show at 2.30pm
Throughout the day there will be tea, coffee and sandwiches available, slideshows of the work of many of the organisations and prayers said on the hour with a service to end at 3.30pm led by the new vicar of Ingleby Barwick, Revd Clay Roundtree.
For more details, contact the organiser - Revd Geoff Jaques from Christ Church, Great Ayton 722979
