QUICK-FOOTED Morgan Bone will be dancing for joy after winning two major tournaments.
For after scooping gold in the North of England Dance Championships she went on to claim top prize in her class of the British Dance Championship.
Proud mum, Lisa, 35, said: “I’m absolutely over the moon."
Eight-year-old Morgan, of Coulby Newham won the five to ten age group for tap and modern dance at the national event.
"She’s tapped before she could walk. If you can’t see her you can usually hear her because she’s always got her tap shoes on.�
Morgan, who goes to St Augustine’s Primary and Maloney’s dance school, will soon be jetting off to Disneyland with grandparents, Cath and Les Lowe as a reward.

Personally i think its wrong to see all this makeup on this little girl, whats wrong with putting a little gloss on,why does she have to look like a young lady?,
this for me is dangerous, i am not saying for her not to be taking part in her dancing, its wrong thats all, why cant little girls be little girls these days,why do they have to be older than they are?,
If you notice people who star on tv or plays they get dressed up and part of dressing up is the make up,course it looks great what more does a little girl want.shoes costumes and of course make up...
Make-up is part of Theatre. Nothing sinister or bad about it.
Children who attend dance schools have a magical childhood full of music, old and new, variety and fun. They learn team work in the troupes and the comradeship of supporting fellow dancers as well as confidence and deportment.

If you have ever seen a West End Musical or a Russian Ballet production, you will have seen the stage make-up on the performers. It is there for a reason!! the stage lights are so bright that it makes the performer look washed out and appear to have no features without stage make-up! Get yourself to the theatre on the front row or read a book!

comment for leanne...if you knew Morgan you would know that she IS a little girl and the make up that she wears is only for the stage. If more little girls had the discipline and ambition that Morgan has at her young age maybe there wouldn't be so many teenagers running wild, taking drugs,smoking,drinking and getting pregnant. Im sure you would agree that as a society we need to look at children with real problems not children who wear make up for stage work,which may i add is always in a very secure and safe enviroment.....
