The Linx Youth Forum held an Open Evening on Monday 4th June 2007. The young people had invited members from the Linx Board of Management and other Youth Clubs in Middlesbrough to a session where the group showcased their talents.

Representing the Board of Management were, Chairperson Nicky Walker, Neighbourhood Manager Sarah Ross and Jeannette Matthews.

Representing the Youth Service was The Manager of The Manor Youth and Community Centre Linda Walker, who brought along 2 young people, Thomas Bielby and Carl Robinson.
The Youth forum who consist of, Adele Ellis aged 14, Carla Ferry aged 14, Kayley Drumm aged 14, Genna Readshaw aged 16, Lauren Galbraith aged 18 and Gavin Gordon aged 19, gave individual presentations on some of their achievements over the past year. This included the London Residential, The ‘Plant Pot’ Project, and the Youth Opportunity Fund.

The evening was a big success with promises of a group project between the young people at Linx and the Manor Youth Centre working together I the future.
The Youth Forum did an excellent job and we are really proud of them.
