FESTIVE fever has been sweeping Nunthorpe Primary School!

Excitement levels were growing among the children and staff throughout the school as everyone got ready for the holidays and the big day.
The nursery group was well and truly in the seasonal swing, with dazzling decorations and colourful cards everywhere.

When Gazette People visited, a couple of tiny elves were in their workshop, while a mini Santa Claus was busy making a list - and checking it twice.
Meanwhile, other little ones were making and creating salt dough decorations and pasta calendars.
And all the children have been kept occupied recently, making Christmas cards and writing wish lists for Father Christmas.
Christmas excitement also hit the reception class at the school.
Santa has been to visit and the children were all on their best behaviour, hoping that they have been good enough to get presents on Christmas morning.
The creative kids in the class have also been designing tree decorations and hats to wear for their school Christmas lunch. One of the children's favourite things to do is act and take part in role plays.
