FIRE sculptures and circus skills are being used to celebrate the festive season at Middlesbrough's Captain Cook Birthplace Museum and Stewart Park.
The free events on Sunday, December 14, are open to families with children of all ages and there will be craft events.
Father Christmas will be in Cook's Cottage with gifts for everyone. Admission is £2.
Other activities include lessons to improve juggling and circus skills and visitors can help to create a fire sculpture.
The spectacular sculptures will be set alight from 3.30pm - weather and conditions permitting.
Bags of magic sparkly reindeer dust will be on offer the help children guide Father Christmas and his reindeer to their house.
There is also an exhibition on Christmas in the 18th century throughout the festive period.
