THE Under-16s were in the second round of the Yorkshire Cup but went down 45-12 to Rotherham Titans.
Boro took the lead after 10 minutes when centre Liam Blenkinsopp picked it up and ran 40 yards to score under the posts.
However, the run took it out of him as he missed the conversion.
The Titans were a strong side and this provided them with good set-piece ball time and time again.
Following a well-worked blindside move, they scored under the posts.
Another two tries followed.
However, Boro did not waver. The back row were working hard with Jamie Cane and Alex Pederson taking the ball on.
Just before half-time Boro were awarded a penalty on the Rotherham 22.
Foley took a quick penalty, fed it to Cane, who drove forward with purpose.
Quick ruck ball was retained and following three pairs of hands, Blenkinsopp scored again.
Danny Robinson added the conversion making the half-time score 17-12.
Man of the match was Danny Borwell.
