Lewis Bradley drops in to Kader Primary School's performance of Joseph

TEESSIDE star Lewis Bradley lent his support to a school performance of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Lewis, 18, from Nunthorpe, appeared in BBC show Any Dream Will Do and dropped in to Kader Primary School to see youngsters perform the famous musical.

He heard about the school’s performance through his former singing teachers Corinne and Graham Morriss.

Kader pupil Emily Holden, 11, had the starring role of Joseph.

Lynne Chalk, headteacher at the school, said: “The pupils’ performance was fantastic and it was great of Lewis to give up his time to come along and join in.

Lewis was spending six days at home before returning to his home in the London docklands to concentrate on his career.

He said: “I’ve been away five months and that’s the longest I have ever been away from home. But it doesn’t feel different and I’m glad about that.

Lewis has been mobbed by fans and inundated with letters of support but said he is still getting used to his new life.

He added: “I never thought about the fame thing much, I just wanted to be on the stage and recognised for that.

“I wanted to inspire other people, especially young lads.

“I hope that if they were being bullied like I was, then they could see me and say ‘Well Lewis did it so I can too’.
