A MIDDLESBROUGH Over-50s group walked up Wembley's steps and lifted the FA Cup for the Boro.
The Monday Night Over-50s group from North Ormesby had a weekend trip to the capital and took a tour of the new Wembley Stadium, pictured Monday night Over-50's group leader Molly Griffiths gets her hands on the FA Cup at Wembley.
The 42-strong group, who meet at Pennyman House, North Ormesby, followed in the footsteps of the likes of England captain John Terry, up the steps to the royal box to lift the famous cup.
Molly Griffiths, 73, from North Ormesby, who runs the group, said: "A lot of the group are season ticket holders at the Riverside, and we were all lifting the cup for the Boro.
"Some of the group are between 80 and 90 years old, but we all made it up to the royal box. It was fantastic."
Molly has run the group, which provides trips, bingo nights and activities, for 12 years.
The group is currently in need of funds to pay for a wheelchair accessible bus.
