Dogs wearing red ribbons hope they'll catch the eye of prospective owners during a family fun day.
Saltburn Animal Rescue Association holds its annual sponsored dog walk on Sunday.
And as well as helping raise funds for the charity, it's hoped "Walkies Fun Day"? might find homes for some of the dogs currently in SARA's care.
Dogs available for adoption will wear red ribbons during Sunday's event, which starts at SARA's new Foxrush Farm sanctuary off Kirkleatham Lane, Redcar, at 10am. And as a visible sign of previous success stories, dogs that have been adopted will wear green ribbons.
However the walk, which will take place around Foxrush Farm and the adjacent community woodland, is open to anyone who owns a dog.
Sheila Green of SARA said: "As this is our first big event at Foxrush Farm, it promises to be a good family day out."?
