Redcar & Cleveland Mind launches a new gift service today.
In the run up to Christmas people might be thinking of presents and buying something that's a little bit different.
This local mental health charity may have the answer, a selection of 'virtual' gifts. People can buy items for Redcar & Cleveland Mind, ranging from healthy snacks for their drop-ins at £5, through to an holistic therapy session costing £30.
Sharon Street Chief Executive of R&C Mind said, "We have a whole range of gifts to suit everyone's pocket and everyone who donates money receives a unique hand made card made by our volunteers which we will post out to them or a recipient."

And don't forget from the same page you can send environmentally friendly e-cards to celebrate Christmas, a birthday or an anniversary. They are working with their partner CharitEcards to provide the service.
Just click on the e-card link and you will be taken to a dedicated page, where you can choose from a whole range of unique designs to send to family and friends.
Using Gift Aid to offset the cost of the scheme, R&C Mind receives the full £10 for every £10 donated.
