Last week I was fortunate enough to spend time with some of the representatives of low carbon community groups in Cheshire and Warrington. I heard some amazing stories of community activism which inspiring and quite astounding in their ambition. Karen Price - I started life as a journalist at 19 and got a job as a trainee reporter on the Pontypool Free Press. After stints on the Wilts & Glos Standard, South Wales Argus and the Bristol Evening Post, I ended up at the Western Mail where I have scaled the giddy heights to now be editing the arts and ents section, Box Office.
